Midge had been invited to join the band in May 1977, but after
a number of sessions and gigs he turned them down and returned
to Scotland to concentrate on Slik/PVC2.
During a break in activity on the Clash front - August 1977 -
guitarist Mick Jones joined the band to give a four piece line-up.
His stay was only very brief, but he played several gigs
with the band.
Midge finally joined the Rich Kids in October 1977.
Disbanded in early December 1978 although an official announcement
wasn't made until mid-1979!
